The Government's Summits Management Office Designates The Canadian Press Images as the Official Host Photo Agency for the G8 and G20 Summits

TORONTO, ONTARIO (June 2, 2010) - The Canadian Press Images, the commercial photography division of The Canadian Press, has been selected as the official host photo agency of the G8 and G20 Summits. The Government's Summits Management Office has contracted The Canadian Press Images to provide ceremonial, press and official Summits photography of the world leaders throughout the summits in Huntsville and Toronto, Ontario.

The Canadian Press Images will also use its extensive digital archiving experience to provide and host a turnkey, online archive solution for real-time access and distribution of press-ready images to the media, summit and government officials. The services will be provided in Canada's two official languages.
