Portraits by Irma Coucill
Drawings by one of Canada's most renowned
interpreters of historical personalities. The collection of 82
biographical sketches, that appear in the book, Canada's Prime
Minister, Governors General and Fathers of Confederation, highlight
the people behind the decisions which led our nation through such
major events as Confederation, the world wars, the Great Depression,
repatriation of the constitution and the challenge of free trade. |
