A selection of the best images from one of the most authoritative collections of news and sport photography in the United Kingdom and Ireland. New pictures are added to the collection every day and are available to Canadian based archive users.

The Canadian Olympic Association
A collection of nearly twenty thousand pictures that document Canadian athletes over the past 25 years. Adding depth to CP's already unmatched Olympic picture collection, the collection makes the CP Picture Archive the place to go for pictures of Canada's top athletes. Canadian sport federations, affiliated with the COA, its sponsors and all registered archive users are now able to access and search pictures quickly over the Internet.

Canadian Press Member Newspapers
Thousands of pictures shot by the photographers at 74 Canadian daily newspapers. The news, sports and feature images are available for editorial use by other newspapers, magazines, books and picture professionals. The CP Picture Archive offers one-stop shopping.

Macleans Magazine
Images that appear in Canada's top news magazine each week. Shot in magazine style, these images offer a fresh view of many of Canada's personalities and top news stories.

National Archive of Canada
More than 2000 images, dating back to 1840, that represent the visual history of Canada. From Canada's early settlers arriving on tall ships to the images of Canada at War, the collection adds depth to the country's top online line picture collection.

Portraits by Irma Coucill
Drawings by one of Canada's most renowned interpreters of historical personalities. The collection of 82 biographical sketches, that appear in the book, Canada's Prime Minister, Governors General and Fathers of Confederation, highlight the people behind the decisions which led our nation through such major events as Confederation, the world wars, the Great Depression, repatriation of the constitution and the challenge of free trade.
